Museum Carantana Molzbichl - Spittal an der Drau

The name goes back to a document of Charlemagne, which designated Carinthia as the Provincia Carantana.

Museum, church, and an archaeological open-air exhibition ground form a remarkable ensemble, which gives the visitor an understanding of the Early Middle Ages in impressively striking ways.
